Meet Director

Leah Goldring
Leah is a former CrossFit athlete and current competitive powerlifter. Athletics, especially at a competitive level, were something Leah had very limited access to during childhood, though she always had competitive aspirations. Much of her development as an athlete has been during her adult years.
Having access to organized athletics as an adult has been transformative to Leah’s mental and physical health. Through athletics, she has built confidence, found community and learned perseverance that carries over into all aspects of her life. This experience has taught her how vital equitable access is for all people, at all levels of sports. To deny someone access is to deny them community, skill building opportunities, and a wide range of positive mental and physical health outcomes.
Leah has been involved with Women’s Strength Coalition from near the beginning, first as a competitor and fundraiser for their Lift for Planned Parenthood event, next as a volunteer coordinator, and currently as a volunteer.
